It is important to note that the regulations to bring in food depend on each country. However, we note some considerations to take into account when making your trip:
- You must not transport perishable foods, or unprocessed foods (fruits, vegetables, meat, milk, etc.).
- If you are transporting food, we suggest you take small, properly packaged amounts within the free baggage allowance and do not take them as additional pieces subject to space as they could take up to nine days to arrive.
- Some foods must be declared on customs forms at the time of your arrival, so you should check the forms to find out which foods are allowed. Otherwise you may be fined by the customs authorities (in the United States fines are up to USD 1,000).
