WE REMIND YOU OF THE NEW SECURITY
MEASURES
Following are the new measures established
by regional airport security authorities for security and logistical
reasons regardless of a passenger's origin or destination.
Passengers should:
- Arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior
to their flight
- Travel light: packing your bags neatly and
simply will help to speed you through the screening process.
Baggage restrictions
The only liquids permitted in your carry-on
baggage are:
- Baby formula, breast milk, baby food, and juices
in small containers if traveling with a child
- Medications (including liquids, gels, and aerosols)
- Liquids, gels, and aerosols in containers not
exceeding 3.4 oz. (100 ml) each, provided they are placed together
in one transparent 1-quart (1 liter) zip-lock bag measuring no
more than 8.3 x 7.3 inches (21 x 18.5 cm.)

The bag must be closed/sealed and the contents
must fit comfortably for visual or X-ray inspection separate from
the passenger's carry-on baggage.
If any of the articles does not fit into a transparent
1-quart re-sealable bag and/or exceeds 3.4oz (100 ml), it must be
declared to security personnel at the boarding gate.
Items not permitted in carry-on baggage
- Any liquids, gels, or aerosols not meeting
the above criteria must be packed in checked baggage. This includes
drinks, creams, lotions, shampoo, toothpaste, hair gel, liquid
cosmetics and all other products of a liquid or gelatinous consistency
in containers exceeding the maximum permitted amount of 3.4 oz.
or 100 ml.
Passengers carrying liquids, gels and/or aerosols
to the waiting area or boarding gate are subject to secondary inspection.
Security measures at duty-free stores
Articles purchased at duty-free stores within
the airport sterile area (after transiting the security checkpoint)
are permitted; however:
- If your flight is to the U.S.:
The store may not give you your item/s until
you are at the boarding gate or on board the aircraft.
- If your flight is departing from the
U.S.:
You may receive your item/s in the store
where you buy them.
Measures at security checkpoints
Inspection areas
Prior to boarding, all passengers must pass through
established security checkpoints for inspection of carry-on baggage.
- Passengers wishing to leave the area prior to
boarding may do so, but must be re-inspected before reentering.
- For flights with stops on route, all passengers
will be asked to debark for inspection at the final connecting
point.
We urge all of our passengers to note the preceding
information and recommendations in order to avoid being inconvenienced
or delayed when traveling.
For more information please contact a service representative
at any of our
offices.
